Maintenance for the equipment in use
A servicing job can concern one compressor or several units with associated air treatment equipment. Inspection and consumable replacement requirements should be identified against the manufacturer’s maintenance information and the work already recorded.
Specify whether dryers and filters need to be included. If earlier service notes identify outstanding work, mention it so that it forms part of the servicing discussion.
Plan the maintenance window
Explain when the equipment can be taken out of use and how long a shutdown your business can accommodate. If several compressors are involved, describe any operating arrangements that affect the order or timing of the work.
Useful details for your enquiry include:
- Compressor make, model and number of units.
- Last service date and available maintenance history.
- Operating hours already recorded or displayed.
- Dryers, filters or other equipment within the requested scope.
- Site postcode, access restrictions and preferred timing.
Mention any relevant warranty or maintenance agreement. Use records you already hold and identify missing information without opening equipment to obtain it.
Separate servicing from other requirements
Name statutory examination separately if it is part of the work you need.
If an operating fault prompted your enquiry, describe it separately from the planned maintenance. Our repair page covers fault investigation requirements.
